THE MOMMY BEHIND THE LAPTOP

Hello! I am mommy Marge!

My 2 kids grew up as toddlers during the COVID pandemic.

It was the time when we were not allowed to go out, and vaccines were not available for the kids.

We filled our home with lots of playtime and activity time.

We started with homeschool box in which all lessons and materials were already given. Then, a little bit of mix and match so that both of them enjoy the same activities.

That's when I noticed that they love arts and crafts especially drawing. They enjoyed our daily lessons and activity time.

In fact, they insisted on having their activity time even if they are slightly "under the weather" or even during weekends!

So, I began my arts and crafts journey to bring more fun in the table for my kids.

Or wait!!!

I think I had the timeline wrong.

We, my husband and I, were actually into arts and crafts even before the kids were born.... err,

even before we got married rather.

It was when we had to go to our friend's house to use their desktop computers, and print using blank ink only for my parent's silver wedding anniversary invitation which we designed.

On our own wedding, we DIY our wedding invitation, souvenirs and tags, program and mass printouts, among others.

It was so tiring yet very meaningful!

And the list of personal events where we made our own invitation and souvenirs goes on..............

from baptismal to birthdays, Christmas, office and school events.

Every single thing we personally curated and provided for our events made the occasions even more memorable.

Arts and Crafts are not just for kids.

It can also satisfy your soul, your personal passion.

Some will say it's their way of de-stressing, some will say it's their hobby, some will say it relieves them of boredom,

some will say it makes them happy and fulfilled, some will say it's an opportunity for an additional income,

and some will say it provides personal growth and development.

But for me, more than all those reasons, arts and crafts provide an avenue of creating not only keepsakes

but also building relationships.
